Waiting for the End!

The boat is ready, it has been ready to go back into the water for several months now. We put it off when it was first ready because I had some medical issues that needed checked out but fortunately, they were nothing and I got a clean bill of health!

Then it was the start of hurricane season, and we did not have anywhere to go. The marinas around us were all booked up and stupid expensive anyway, so we decided to just stay on the hard. Cheaper and we knew LeaLou was safe. We’ve made some good friends here at the boat yard and they keep an eye on her when we are away.

We did take some time to go back to Nevada and see relatives. Miss my boys for sure! One moved to Phoenix, so we spent almost 3 weeks there with him and his girl. Can’t wait for them to be able to spend some time with us in a lovely
tropical location.

We are going to Roatan with some friends the end of the month and the plan is when we get back is to put LeaLou in the water. If a spot that we found in Brunswick is not ready for us (they need someone to leave) then providing the
weather is stable, we are just going to anchor out until the marina can put us in a slip.

We would love to just take off but since I have committed to working thru February 2023 it is better to just hang close to the East Coast. My Starlink is working well but since I HAVE to have internet, I don’t want to put us in the
water and lose my connection.

We have made so many changes to the boat. I will do another post and talk about some of them.

Until then, have a great life!
