Owner’s Overview

This vessel has undergone extensive upgrades since we purchased her, with a focus on improving comfort, efficiency, and ease of living aboard.

The galley has been completely remodeled with a 33” single-basin black sink and epoxy-coated countertops. The refrigerator has been replaced with a Nova Kool unit, and the freezer upgraded with a Nova Kool icebox conversion kit using flat plates, which significantly increases usable freezer space.

All propane systems have been removed from the boat. The original stove and cooktop have been replaced with a two-burner induction cooktop and a large countertop toaster oven capable of handling a full 9×13 baking dish. An additional Euhomy portable 12V/24V freezer provides extra cold storage. The induction cooktop is wired to a dedicated breaker so it can be fully powered down when not in use.

The salon dining table has been retrofitted with Springfield gas-powered pedestals, allowing it to lower and convert into a very large berth.

All navigation electronics have been upgraded to a complete B&G system, including forward-looking sonar.

Electrical capability has also been expanded. A 120V circuit has been added throughout the vessel utilizing a Victron MultiPlus 24/3000/70-50 inverter/charger, making it easy to use standard U.S. electrical devices onboard. Power distribution is managed through a Blue Sea breaker panel with multiple zones, and USB charging ports have been installed in the cockpit, aft cabin, forward berth, and chart table.

The generator was replaced with a brand new Paguro 6.5 kW generator installed in early 2026.

On deck, the faux teak decking has been refinished in a lighter color, which keeps the deck noticeably cooler underfoot and helps reduce interior heat. The cockpit sole is covered with a comfortable cork-and-rubber mat.

An extensive insurance survey completed in November 2023 rated the vessel “Above Average” with an estimated replacement value of $1.1 million, prior to the installation of the new generator and several additional improvements.

Our family circumstances have changed since purchasing the boat, and we now hope to travel more freely than boat ownership currently allows. For that reason, the vessel will be sold fully equipped with nearly everything currently onboard, excluding only personal belongings.

Navigation, Electronics & Electrical Systems

The vessel has been extensively upgraded with modern navigation and electrical systems. All navigation electronics were replaced in 2022 with a complete B&G instrument suite, including radar, AIS, and forward-looking sonar. Electrical systems have been modernized with upgraded wiring, lithium batteries, and Victron power management equipment.

Previously abandoned wiring has been removed, and many systems have been rewired to improve reliability and organization. A custom Blue Sea breaker panel separates power into multiple zones for better load management. A 115V AC circuit has been added throughout the vessel, powered by a Victron MultiPlus 24/3000/70-50 inverter/charger, allowing the use of standard U.S. electrical devices onboard. USB charging ports have been installed throughout the cockpit, aft cabin, forward berth, and chart table.

The vessel operates on 12V DC and 230V AC systems and is supported by a lithium battery bank consisting of ten SOK 100Ah 12V LiFePO₄ batteries (approx. 500Ah usable capacity).
